When you think MicroStrategy Documents and Dashboards the only Microcharts that really come to mind are the ones that are locked into that little “MicroCharts” widget…which is really limiting. Here’s a very simple how to (rushed to get under that 10 minutes youtube/expression limit) on creating microcharts that are attribute based. The “big idea” here is how to work around the limitation when it comes to detail sections. You can’t put a graph into a detail section…so how do you get a header to act like a detail section? Change the grouping properties in a document to “all” and forget about the page by function all together!
